I got a job
Finally I got a job. I have been here in Oregon since the middle of March and have been looking for a job and helping Dan out with some work with other places that he owns to try and make some rent. Right now he is at Burning Man so when he gets back I can tell him the great news that I got a full time job working at Goodwill. Yes at goodwill. I am so excited. I can afford the clothes there and some other things there too. I am just so excited. YAY me.

Farmers Market
Well on Tuesday I was suppose to go hiking with my friend Tamra but the weather was still not good. It was raining on and off all day so we decided to try and find something else to do. We went online and found out that there was a farmers market open that day so we decided to go. It was a small on but there was still a lot to look at. What was great was that I was able to use my food stamps card to get a few tokens so I can buy stuff. I bought myself a piece of fudge which was really good. I also found $5 on the ground but no one was near the area that I was at so I dont know who dropped it. So with the money I ended up buying my self some really pretty Lily's and some cat food since I was out. When Tamra and I were just about to get our flowers it started to pour. We came back to my place, had some lunch, and hung out playing with my cat. It was a lot of fun.

Random Storm
So last night I went outside to talk to my friend Nora. I told her that it was still warm outside and continued our conversation. I went inside and started to listen to music while looking at ghost pictures. About 5-10 minutes later my cat and I heard something tapping at my window. I just ignored it thinking that it was just some brush or something hitting the window. When it got louder I grabbed my key and started to walk up the stairs and heard...rain...yes rain. It was coming down hard. Right when I got outside I saw lightening and heard thunder. It was so bizarre, I was just outside not 5-10 minutes earlier. It was so dark I could barley see the tree that is right in front of my place. It was so cool. The last time I saw a thunder storm was more than 10 years ago. For some reason I always missed a good thunder storm so I was really stoked to finally see one. But apparently we get a lot of good storms here in Oregon so Im pretty stoked about this. I was also watching the storm with my roommate Walt. So I went downstairs to grab my phone to try to be able to take a picture but it didnt work. Walt and I were laughing cause every time I turned to look I missed the chance. Then I figured out how to record on my phone and of course when the timer went off and was saving then a nice lightening bolt hit. So my phone and the mother nature were against me getting a cool picture.

My adventure home
First everything was going good. I had my ticket and my stuff packed ready to leave to go back to Oregon. I was sitting at the Greyhound station by my moms house waiting for the bus to show up. This guy came in trying to by a ticket when the lady behind the counter said that the bus was running two hours late. I thought it was for a different bus so I sat there waiting when some other people came in and she said the same thing to them. I went up to her and asked if it was my bus that was running late and she said yes. So I called my mom and she picked me up so that I didn't have to wait there for 2 hours. I came back an hour-an hour and a half later when the bus finnaly arrived 2.5 hours after it was suppose to. I was also suppose to get on the bus in San Francisco at 7:20 but because of the bus arriving late I missed the bus. After a little while of not knowing where I was suppose to go I went up to the counter which took forever, cause there was a long line, the lady said that she had to get me new tickets because of the late but and the next one wasnt going to show up till 1 am. grrr...This was not going to be a happy trip. Ao close to 10 pm I finally called my mom to let her know what was going on and of course like every mother she was really worried. At least I know she does her job right when it comes to that. So while I was waiting I read, talked to some people on the phone cause they wanted to know how the trip was going, and listening to music. FINALLY!!!! The bus showed up. YAY!!! got onto the bus and was finally on my way yet again. When I got to Sacramento where I was yet again to transfer onto another bus my phone fell out of my pocket somehow on the bus that I just got off of. 5 mins before that bus left I managed to jump back on and get my phone. So far not so good. Then the bus I was suppose to get on was 20 minutes late. Geez can't seem to get a break. After that the trip was going smoothly...HA...only till I got to Metro, Or. This is the stop where everyone has to get off the bus because they clean them and where you are able to get your hot meals. So off we go to get some food while we wait for 30 minutes to get back on. Well I went outside to have a smoke and talk to a few girls that were telling me where they were going and stuff like that when we heard a guy scream. When I turned around there not 15 feet away from me was a guy having a sezure on the corner. About 10 of us rushed over to help him make sure he didn't hurt himself anymore while a taxi driver called the cops. By the time the ambulance got there the speakers were letting us know that it was time to board. This guy was also on our bus so the girl that was sitting behind him told the bus driver what happend so that the guy wouldn't lose his stuff. The driver had to take all of his belonging off the bus and send them to where they needed to go. This was only 5-10 minute wait but that wasn't a major problem. I hope the guy is doing fine. Anyways so off we go again and this time I get to Eugene where I get onto another bus. This one was an hour and a half wait. Well low and behold the bus was 15-20 minutes late. Who would have thought that. Finally I get home. Looking foward to seeing my cat and sleeping. Oh but the fun doesnt stop there. I get home and was happy to see my cat as she was to see me. She wouldn't let me out of her site for a second. I couldn't go to the bathroom or take a shower in peace. Well anyways...I go downstairs thinking that I would be able to unpack and get ready for bed but no. My cat messed up my bed. So I had to wash my sheets before tucking in for the night. Finally everything is done by 8 pm. I get into bed, lay down, get comfy to read for a bit when all of a sudden I feel claws on my legs. Yes there is my cat gripped to my legs chewing on my toes over the sheets. I knew the punishment for leave would be coming soon. Finally she calms down and falls asleep sprawled across my legs and I fall asleep for a really good night. That was the end of my amazingly horrible trip back home. I am so glad that it is over.
My trip
I just got back a few days ago from Cali to visit my family and friends. I had a great time and missed everyone. I missed my cat more and didn't really realize it till I got home. I was so busy that I didn't really think about it all to much. I did call to check up on here, my roommate was nice to watch her for me while I was gone for a few weeks. When I first got there my mom and I went to Barns and Noble to pick up a few books. It took me a while to one find a book I was in the mood for reading and 2 remember the authors name...Oh and I am horrible with names. I think that's why I was so bad with History in school. :D Well I ended up remembering the name of a romance author that I like. I don't like romance in the slightest but Nora Roberts is really good. Its no so much about the "rated" version like so many are but she is more into making the stories come to life with the characters and there everyday life style. She also doesn't make the characters so unrealistic. They sound like everyday women that you find where ever you go. The fist series that I got so that my mom and I could read the Three Sisters Trilogy. Its about 3 girls that live/move to this small little island. 2 of the girls know that they are witches and the third one finds out along her journeys. I'm not really good at summarizing books but they are really good. My mom really enjoyed them a lot that she went out and bought more. hehe. My mom read one of her J.D Robbs books but those are not really all that good in my opinion so it was really hard to get my mom into reading the Nora Roberts books till I got them while I was there and started to tell her about them. So for about a week it was lounging around reading which was a lot of fun. Then I went to go visit my friend Nora and her two year old son Evan...wow was that a lot of work and really tiring. I was exhausted by the time I went home but before I did I went Archery shooting with my brother and father. It was a lot of fun but I had to use a recurve instead of my compound bow which caused me to get an awesome bruse on my arm. I took a picture of it and over a week later some of the bruise is still there but its finally fading. After that my mom, Jim and I went to Michaels because my mom and I are thinking about doing some bead work which sounds like a lot of fun. Cant wait to start on that. Well we got some ideas and still in the process of figuring out what and how were going to start. I went to go see my friend Angelina (who I have known since I was 7), my friend Mujah, and my friend Brittany. It was fun. We just hung out and watched some t.v. and goofed of a bit. I talked to Angelina's mom, Mary, which was really nice. I miss them and got some pictures of them before I left. Then if was off to go home. Now this was an adventure all in its self but I will write that one in another post because this one is getting pretty long. :P Well all in all I had a great time and came home to a very happy cat who still doesn't leave my side. Shes not sleeping on top of my legs at night which is cool. It was getting a little hard rolling over with her clawing me to make sure I wouldnt leave again. Well here are some pics that I took. There all of family and friends.

Lazy Days
Well I havent been on here for a while. At first it was because I didnt know what to write about and then I got busy or something came up. I have been helping Dan, the owner of the house Im living in, clean apartments/rooms that have opened up for some rent/pocket money. Dan ownes a few houses. Some here in town and a few in another town so he needs all the help he can get and I need all the hours and money I can get. The great thing is that half of what I makes goes straight to rent and the other half goes to me so that I can get cat food and other things that make life go round. I decided yesterday that I was going to treat myself to something tasty. I bought a 6 pack of shmirnoff ice and split it with my roomate Dick. We had some last night and one each today cause he went to a park with my friend Tamra to BBQ and got into the river to cool off since its been in the 90s here. Yea its a LOT cooler than Cali but its usually cold out that it feels hotter then it really is and in about 2 weeks I will be visiting Cali. I really enjoy it here. Well I guess I will post something when there is something to talk about.

More hiking pictures
Here are a few more pictures. I wish I could put them all on but there wouldnt be enough room. hehe. So the few selected are here.
It so weird looking at the picture with the stairs. It looks like a painting. Well thoes stairs lead to this waterfall which was 168 ft tall. There is also a path that leads behind it which was really cool.
This is the last waterfall that we saw that day. It was starting to get really cloudy and I was running on 2 hours of sleep. It was so georgous that I wish I had more sleep. I guess I was just to excited to sleep. This waterfall is 177 feet tall. I cant wait to see what it looks like in the fall and after the snow melts in the spring.
